Welcome to Immanuel Lutheran of East Dundee

Founded 147 years ago, our school has a rich history of providing high qualty academics and extra-curricular programs for local students.  Now offering classes for students from PK3 through eighth grade, Immanuel provides a nurturing learning environment where students succeed. The pillars of an Immanuel education -- Security. Opportunity. Achievement. Responsibility. -- give students the structure, experience and support they need to SOAR!

 
Security. -- Immanuel students feel secure, both physically and emotionally, as they are guided by their teachers in the rich learning environment. The eternal security of Jesus’ saving love and our daily response to His grace underscore all we do and create an environment of loving security of mind, body and soul.
 
Opportunity. -- Immanuel affords its students opportunities to develop their unique talents in the classroom and in varied extra-curricular such as music, drama, sports and student government.
 
Achievement. -- In the classroom and on the field, ILS students are aiming high and achieving their goals. ILS students consistently perform above the 90th percentile on the Iowa Basic Skills test and place in advanced and honors classes in high school.
 
Responsibility. -- Students and teachers at ILS take responsibility seriously, from keeping track of assignments to initiating measures to green up our campus. Teachers facilitate student accountability and help them transition to taking responsibility for their own education.
